Attorney Yona Gregory

Received her B.S. in 1994 from the Connecticut College and her J.D. in 2004 from the University of Connecticut School of Law. A native of New London, Attorney Gregory is currently a member of the New London County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Attorney Gregory is licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
A History of Experience and Connections
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Gregory served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Peter C. Dorsey, District Court Judge for the District of Connecticut. She also worked as a legal intern for the Hartford based firm O’Connell, Flaherty & Attmore LLC. Since opening her practice in 2005, Attorney Gregory gained valuable experience as a Special Assistant State’s Attorney. She compliments her legal training with a background in real estate and small business ownership. She has also been named “Rising Star” in the category of real estate attorneys by New England Super Lawyers for three years in a row. Each year, only 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor. In November of 2009, the Law Office of Yona Gregory was featured in the Connecticut Law Tribune in an article on diversifying the practice of law.
Attorney Gregory is featured at many landlord associations including CTREIA to educate landlords about housing law and she has appeared on Fox News 61 and on Good Morning CT Channel 8.
